Christopher L. Peterson is the managing litigation partner at Peterson Law, LLP, founding the firm in 2017. Mr. Peterson has practiced law since 2001, developing extensive experience in his primary focuses of business, real estate, and tort litigation.

Before founding Peterson Law, Mr. Peterson was a partner at Aldridge Pite (formerly Pite Duncan), a large real estate and financial services litigation firm with a national presence. Mr. Peterson independently managed a high-volume caseload and successfully managed the firm’s California litigation department.
Prior to his time at Pite Duncan, LLP, Mr. Peterson was a partner at Reid & Hellyer in Riverside, California, a general civil litigation firm. When his law practice at Reid & Hellyer under the mentorship of the late David G. Moore, a litigation legend, Mr. Peterson gained extensive experience as a trial attorney. Mr. Peterson, as lead chair, obtained numerous successful jury verdicts and bench trial decisions during his tenure at Reid & Hellyer. His very first jury trial at the age of 29, in which he obtained successful judgment awards for both Plaintiffs, became the Verdict of the Week in VERDICT SEARCH CALIFORNIA.
Mr. Peterson was admitted to the California Bar in 2001 after receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, Mr. Peterson received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Riverside. In his spare time, Mr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, working out, boxing, and following his favorite team, the San Diego Padres.
