Megan Baja is an Associate Attorney with Peterson Law, LLP. Since joining the firm in 2021, Ms. Baja has practiced in a broad array of civil litigation areas, including personal injury, civil torts, contract law, and commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Peterson Law, LLP, Ms. Baja was an Associate Attorney at a civil litigation firm where she defended large retail company clients in personal injury lawsuits. Ms. Baja has also represented clients in a variety of criminal law matters as a Deputy Public Defender in Tulare County. Her experience in these areas gives her an in-depth understanding of the law related to her practice areas.
Ms. Baja received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 2018, where she was a recipient of Academic Excellence Awards in Legal Skills and Women & Immigration Law. While attending law school, Ms. Baja was a member of an international law appellate moot court team and advanced to compete nationally and internationally.
Ms. Baja was also a certified law clerk in the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office, where she assisted in the defense of clients in felony cases. Additionally, Ms. Baja earned membership to the Pro Bono Honors Society for her contributions to public interest entities.
